    Sibelius "Andante Festivo"

This video shows the culmination of 1 day of rehearsals with the Korea International School Middle School Honor’s Orchestra that I conducted in 2015. The piece is the “Andante Festivo” by Jean Sibelius. Though the title states “Andante,” research showed that Sibelius preferred a tempo closer to “Grave” for this piece - hence the slower tempo.

    Daugherty "Alligator Alley"

This is the Spring concert performance by my 7th grade band. This was our “stretch piece” and included compound time signature and extended techniques. For this concert series, I tried to select music that was written during the students’ life times and held their attention as well as being quality music.

I adapted the score for the instrumentation I had available (eg. Replaced bassoon with bass clarinet)

    Mozart "Lacrymosa"

I arranged this version of Mozart’s “Lacrymosa” for tuba/euphonium quartet during the 2020 COVID lock-downs. This piece was the last work by Mozart and deals with man’s acceptance of his own mortality.

All aspects of the video (arranging, recording, editing) were completed by myself.

Breakfast Machine (from Pee Wee's Big Adventure)

My good friend arranged this piece of music and we recorded it during the 2020 COVID lock-down. The piece sneaks in topical melodies and themes as a nod to the time in which it was recorded.
